My stay at Hostal Rio Amazonas was simply fantastic. The location was super convenient for exploring Santiago, just a short walk to the cool neighborhoods. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made my experience even better. The rooms were lovely and clean, but I did find the bathroom a bit small. Overall, it was an amazing experience that I’d love to repeat!

I had an interesting experience at Hostal Rio Amazonas. The charming atmosphere and friendly staff were noticeable right from the start. The room was small but bright and included a nice little balcony. However, being on a busy street meant I dealt with a lot of noise at night, which made it tough to get enough sleep. Overall, it was a decent stay due to its inviting vibe and excellent location, but the noise levels could be a drawback for light sleepers.

The location is super convenient, allowing easy access to many attractions and restaurants. While the neighborhood can feel a bit sketchy at night, I always felt safe inside the hostal. However, there were some minor issues with room allocation at first, but the staff handled it well and made my stay enjoyable.

My stay at Hostal Rio Amazonas was fantastic overall. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly helpful in making my stay nice. The location is central, providing easy access to metro stations and nearby attractions. However, I did find the breakfast a bit limited, and my room was smaller than I had anticipated.

I stayed in a double room with a private bathroom. While it was cozy, it lacked space for my suitcase and didn't have a desk, which would have been nice. The shower was hot and the bed comfortable, but it could have been roomier.

The location was excellent, situated close to the metro and within walking distance of major attractions like the university area and La Chascona. I felt safe exploring even with the nearby protests.
Dining

Breakfast was decent but could be improved. I would have preferred a buffet style rather than individual portions. The inclusion of fresh fruit and yogurt was appreciated, but the overall selection felt minimal after a long night of travel.
Facilities

The hostel offered several great facilities, including a cozy courtyard, bar/lounge area, and ample common spaces for socializing. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable, which I found very helpful.

I had a mixed experience at Hostal Rio Amazonas. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. However, the room I had faced the street, and the noise from traffic and common areas made it difficult to sleep well. The breakfast included was decent, though a bit basic for my taste.
